66th Grammys: Stonebwoy Submits His ‘5th Dimension’ Album For Consideration

Ghana’s heralded dancehall songsmith, Stonebwoy, has expressed that he has submitted his latest fifth studio project “5th Dimension,” for consideration in next year’s Grammy Awards put together by the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (NARAS).
Each year, record companies and academy members submit entries for consideration.

“The 5th Dimension is here, I have been blessed and remain thankful to be able to tell my story and that of many around me through my art & my sound – the journey continues and is being considered for this year @recordingacademy #GRAMMY awards! #5thdimension #ghana #foryourgrammyconsideration.”

The 5th Dimension album which was dropped on Friday, 28 April has earned tremendous attention around the world and it has garnered millions of streams on digital streaming platforms.

โ€œ5th Dimensionโ€ is an anthology of sounds and rhythms that exhibit potential Grammy nomineeโ€™s proficiency to seamlessly combine different genres, particularly afro beats, lover’s rock reggae, amapiano and afro-dancehall into his melody.

The 17-tune album has guest appearances from both local and global superstars such as Grammy award-winner and African singer Angelique Kidjo, Ghanaian-British born rapper Stormzy, Nigerian Afrobeats songster Davido, Popular South African DJ Maphorisa, and Jamaican reggae/dancehall legend Shaggy, Dexta Daps (Jamaica), Mereba (US), and Jaz Karis (UK).
