Award-winning Nigerian superstar, Davido has substantiated rumours that he and his long-time deceased baby’s mama, Chef Chioma are officially husband and spouse.
Davido who went hidden from the public space and social media returned in March with a statement for his upcoming album.
Granting an exclusive interview to ace content creator and actress, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, the ‘Assurance’ crooner revealed he was now a family man.
Quoting his own words, “just being away, you know I have had a lot to think about definitely. Time to rest, reflect on a lot of family time and time to make music again,” he uttered.
He proceeded and added, “you know, I remade the album. Before I went on a break I had an album ready. I had a tour ready. You know we did the album. I travelled. It was crazy. I’m married. A lot of different things but yeah, we are ready now to get back on the road.
Davido and Chioma who called off their wedding during the Covid-19 pandemic had been on and off until their reunion last year, a few months before the sudden demise of their beloved son, Ifeanyi.
The bankroller of Davido Music Worldwide had dropped hints of the upcoming wedding last year which was posted by UK-based Nigerian pastor, Tobi Adegboyega.
Meanwhile, some of his die-hard fans have taken to social media to compliment the couple and send them goodwill messages as far as their marital bliss is concerned.
