Whiz Ghanaian rapper/vocalist, Anthony Denning Agbeviade Hotor, who is well-known in entertainment circles as Edem, has been granted a GH¢ 50,000 bail after being accused of knocking down a woman.

Citinewsroom reported that Edem hit the woman while driving on the George Walker Bush Highway between Abeka and Spintex Road at approximately 2 a.m. on Sunday, December 10.

Despite being in the center lane, he knocked the victim down a short distance from the Dimples roundabout.
It was reported that the woman, who was believed to be in her 40s, died upon arriving at the Police Hospital in Accra.

Edem was slapped with two counts of careless and inconsiderate driving and negligently causing harm.

However, his appeal was not taken into account. The “We Don’t Really Care” hitmaker is scheduled to reappear on February 15, 2024.
