Jamie Foxx remains glued to his hospital bed more than twenty-one days after suffering a medical emergency, and the Actor’s close associates to him say he needs all the prayers and well-wishes his fans can rally.
While his exact situation remains secret – tightly guarded by his family – TMZ has communicated with sources close to Jamie who echo the same plea, “Pray for Jamie.”
It was on April 12 when Foxx’s daughter, Corinne, announced her father suffered a “medical complication.”
Jamie Foxx is one of the most prolific entertainers in Hollywood, and his condition has sent studios shuffling.
He has been the host of the hugely popular “Beat Shazam” music lyric game show on FOX, which was going into production just days after he was admitted to the hospital.
According to sources with immediate insight tell TMZ that Jamie will not be on this season of “Beat Shazam.”
TMZ is told filming begins Wednesday, May 3, with a new host. Also, Corinne, who DJs on the show, will not be on as well, as she’s been a fixture at the hospital in Atlanta by her dad’s side.

As earlier reported, Jamie Foxx was in Atlanta for work on the movie “Back in Action” when he suddenly fell ill. A stunt double and body double has been seen filling in for Jamie for that movie role.
