M.anifest Confirms Business Ties With Nas’s Mass Appeal Records On Joy FM

Ghanaian rapper Kwame Ametepee Tsikata, widely known as M.anifest, appeared on Joy FM 99.7’s weekend entertainment program ShowbizAtoZ on Saturday, December 14. The interview, hosted by Kwame Dadzie, centered on the much-anticipated Manifestivities 2024 concert and M.anifest’s recent interactions with legendary Hip-Hop artist Nas.

In the past weeks, social media has been rife with speculation after photos of M.anifest and Nas surfaced on the official timeline of Mass Appeal Records, the record label co-founded by the New York rap legend. Fans have been wondering whether this connection signals a collaboration or even a signing with the label.

Addressing the speculation, M.anifest provided some context during the interview. “We were in London. He [Nas] was doing the 30th anniversary of Illmatic, where he had a concert at Royal Albert Hall. I was doing a couple of things as well,” the rapper shared.

He went on to elaborate on his relationship with Mass Appeal Records. “I’m linked in with Mass Appeal in terms of this new part of my career. Mass Appeal, that he owns. So, I guess we have a business relationship, too,” he disclosed.

Kwame Dadzie, curious about the possibility of a musical collaboration with Nas, pressed for more details. In response, M.anifest remained measured but optimistic, saying, “Hey, we’ll see what God will do… I’m grateful for the fact that I’ve actually reached a point in my career where I am connected to some of these folks, and we are doing work together, you know what I mean? Especially on the business side.”

While he stopped short of confirming any upcoming music with Nas, M.anifest’s remarks suggest exciting opportunities on the horizon for his fans. He emphasized his focus on building meaningful connections and expanding his career in new directions.

The godMC hitmaker is also preparing for Manifestivities 2024, an annual concert that has become a major highlight of Ghana’s entertainment calendar. Fans are eager to see what surprises M.anifest has in store, especially with the buzz surrounding his affiliation with Nas and Mass Appeal Records.

As the year winds down, M.anifest continues to cement his legacy as one of Ghana’s premier rappers. His ability to bridge the gap between Ghanaian and global Hip-Hop has further elevated his stature, making him a trailblazer for the next generation of African artists.
