Annually since 1993, the world of Reggae comes together in one town for the Reggae Sumfest Music Festival.
At this yearโs edition, the multiple Grammy-winning Reggae group, Morgan Heritage gave a once-in-a-lifetime rendition, getting a lot of traction from the festivalโs Jamaican and digital audience.
The Royal Family of Reggae, who has had a long history with the Sumfest stage, showcased a stellar performance of their classic hits from a catalogue extending over two decades.
They also added to their performances pieces of music off their new album, โThe Homelandโ which sonically traces debuted at #1 on the iTunes World Music Albums chart in over 20 countries during the first 24 hours of its release.
The group made a powerful statement at this yearโs edition with some applauding it as a defining moment in their career.

The iconic culturally propelled music band also took the commitment to emphasize the significance of legends who have impacted the genreโs success with their skill during their stunning performance.
The Trinity devoted this yearโs impeccable Reggae Sumfest performance to their deceased father Bishop Ras Denroy Morgan who first brought them to Reggae Sumfest 27 years ago.
This was their first time gracing the stage since his demise last year.
They also vent tribute to their long-time producer the late great Bobby โDigitalโ Dixon, their mentor and uncle the late originator of Reggae, Toots Hibbert, and the legendary Jimmy Cliff.
The Reggae band will also perform at their upcoming concerts on the Homeland World Tour from July 29 to August 8 in Belize, Guyana, Tortola and Brooklyn, New York.
