Flipmode squad’s ringleader, Busta Rhymes has incurred the wrath of some enthusiasts after suddenly calling off his forthcoming Blockbusta Tour just days before it was set to commence.
Per an article by USA Today dated Tuesday (March 5) chanced on by eljournonews, all gigs listed on Ticketmaster were officially labeled “canceled” on the site.
The tour was scheduled to commence on March 13 in San Francisco and end over a month later in Busta’s hometown of Brooklyn on April 21.
Some section of the media has reached out to Busta Rhymes’ representatives but have not heard any feedback from Brooklyn native rapper’s outfit.
Numerous enthusiasts took to social media to vent their frustrations with the sudden development, with one composing: “Damn Busta Rhymes wtf why’d you cancel your tour I was gonna take my mama to that for her birthday.”
“Busta Rhymes cancels all 2024 Blockbusta tour dates a week before kickoff. I guess he didn’t think the nonsense would catch up to him. I guess he thought wrong,” another person wrote, while a third said: “Am i the first person on the planet to realise #BLOCKBUSTAtour has had dates cancelled was coming to NYC to watch busta rhymes loaded ticketmaster and Pow ,This just one of many.”

The “Dangerous ” hitmaker made headlines last month when he was seen on camera trading words with another attendee at rapper French Montana‘s album release party for Mac & Cheese 5 in New York City.
The incident apparently occured at Harbor NYC in midtown Manhattan. In footage disseminated by The Shade Room, Mr Smith appeared to get in the face of an aspiring rapper from Staten Island named Nizzle Man.
Nizzle appeared to fall down the stairs, and Busta Rhymes seemed to grab his wrist to accost him about something. They both traded words fiercely in the footage, and it isn’t long before a pack of security guards step between the two men and escort Nizzle Man out of the club.
Some netizens shared their thoughts beneath the post suggesting that it didn’t appear that Busta and Nizzle were feuding. Rather, it appeared to them that the legendary Hip-Hop icon was trying to de-escalate the situation, and had Nizzle Man escorted out before things got violent with whomever he may have been feuding with.
