Yung Miami has confirmed that she and Bad Boy record label executive Diddy are no longer seeing each other, but are still pals despite parting ways.
The adorable City Girls rapper talked about her relationship with the Ciroc liquor mogul in an interview with The Cut, mentioning that she doesn’t regret being so open about their “situation.”
According to her, “I felt like, it is what it is. Eventually, people were gonna find out that because he is who he is, I am who I am. We were just like, if we’re going to put it out there, we’re going to be the ones that talk. I don’t like anyone talking for me,” Yung Miami uttered of them being so public about their romance.
The interviewer then quizzed if they were still together, to which Miami replied: “No.”
“We’re still friends! We’re still good friends! But we’re single. That’s not my man,” she continued. “We had our situation, I’m not gonna put a title on it. We were fucking with each other hard. We were together every day at one point. He supported me, I supported him. I’ll let the internet call it whatever they want to call it.”
Puffy Combs and Yung Miami first sparked dating rumours in June 2021 when they were seen holding hands at Quality Control CEO Pierre “Pee” Thomas’ birthday party, but it wasn’t until last June that they made their romance official.
The Hip-Hop power couple then admitted they were in an open relationship, with Diddy serving as Miami’s first guest on her REVOLT talk show Caresha Please.
“We are dating. We single, but we’re dating,” Miami stated clearly in an interview with Billboard just a few months ago. “People don’t know what dating means. He’s single, I’m single, but we’re dating. That’s what I mean when I say we go together. When we’re together, we’re together. We’re having the time of our lives, but we’re still single.”
Meanwhile, in her conversation with The Cut, Yung Miami also reflected on her viral BMF scene, which was met with mass criticism despite the Florida rapper mentioning it was a very personal juncture for her.
