The Volta Regime Music Group boss opined that, “for starters, anybody who can get on a business class ticket that is over $5,000 and go and do ‘ahohyehyɛ’ should be praised”, he chronicled a vivid account to host Giovani Caleb on an Accra-based radio station 3FM’s evening drive time show ‘3 Drive’ during a phone-in conversation.

Rapper Edem, who shared stage with Stonebwoy at Grammy’s Africa Nominee Brunch put together by Guba Enterprise in cooperation with the Recording Academy, pointed out naysayer’s small thinkers living in their own bubbles.

“Ahohyehyɛ” is a twi term, a Ghanaian local dialect, that describes individuals who intrude on people’s spaces to implore for favors or to be known as a member of a particular circle.

According to the “Over Again” hitmaker, there is nothing bad with attempting to make significant acquaintances in one’s profession.

“In life, your network is your net worth. People need to see this with a global eye when people are trying to push themselves to excellence.”

Quoting his exact submissions, “every one of us out there wasn’t talking about ourselves. We were talking about the country and how people should visit. And so nothing is ahohyehyɛ about it. Any hater is pained,”  Edem inferred.
