The popular BHIM Concert, which Stonebwoy founded, will feature Jamaican global crooner Jahmiel as its guest headline act.

Accra Sports Stadium will host the 7th instalment of the annual music and arts festival on Friday, December 22. The concert promises an immersive experience that aims to connect African and Caribbean roots by featuring a carefully curated line-up of musicians from various corners of the African continent and the diaspora.

In 2015, Jahmiel became known as one of the greatest reggae and dancehall superstars after his breakout hit ‘Gain The World’. In the following years, more successful singles were produced, such as the internationally acclaimed ‘Years to Come’ in 2016, ‘Strongest Soldier’ in 2017, and ‘U Me Luv’ in 2018.

The BHIM Concert 2023 will be Jahmiel’s first performance in Ghana, following his entry into the Ghanaian musical industry through his collaboration with Stonebwoy on the song ‘Motion’. Stonebwoy won the Album of the Year award from ReggaeVille for his 2020 album Anloga Junction, which has the standout track.

The music festival Bhim Concert, which was founded by the esteemed Ghanaian-global superstar Stonebwoy and expanded on the success of previous editions, has become Ghana’s largest and most well-attended artist-led festival. The festival has been known for its extensive lineup of well-known musical artists from Africa and the Caribbean, including Busy Signal, Beenie Man, Morgan Heritage, and others.
