Ludacris Pulls Highwire Stunt While Performing At Atlanta Falcons Game

Ludacris made a memorable entrance for his performance at an NFL game this past weekend, as the rapper descended from the sky into the arena before going through a medley of his biggest hits.

On Sunday (Nov. 26), the longtime Atlanta rep appeared at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium during the Atlanta Falcons‘ game against their divisional rivals, the New Orleans Saints, in celebration of Hip-Hop’s 50th anniversary.

At the end of the game’s third quarter, Luda, who was protected by a harness, slowly glided onto the field, beginning his set with a mid-air performance of his verse from DJ Khaled’s “All I Do Is Win (Remix).” Transitioning into his 2003 hit single “Move B***H” during his descent, the rap star hit the field full throttle during the song, turning in a performance that ranks among the biggest spectacles of this year’s NFL season.

Luda’s electrifying set appeared to energize his hometown team, as the Falcons defeated the Saints 24-15 in a matchup that tied Atlanta with New Orleans atop the dismal NFC South division. The victory improves the Falcons’ regular season record to 5-6 and gives them a tiebreaker over the Saints in the division. The Falcons will travel to the Big Apple later this week for their Week 13 game against the New York Jets, which is scheduled for Dec. 3 at MetLife Stadium.

This isn’t the first time Ludacris has put on a show for the Falcons faithful. In 2017, he performed at halftime during Atlanta’s divisional playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks. The Falcons would go on to win that matchup 36-20 and go on to the Super Bowl that season, where they would be defeated 34-28 after blowing a double digit lead to the eventual champion New England Patriots.
