Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion are locked in a tight chart race as their respective diss tracks are battling it out for the top spot.
At the time of writing, Megan is currently No. 1 on the U.S. Apple Music chart with “Hiss,” while Minaj trails closely behind at No. 2 with “Big Foot.”
It is the first time in history that two female rappers have occupied the top spots on the chart. Megan is also the first solo female rapper to top the chart twice after previously going No. 1 with “Body” in 2020.
Regarding Spotify’s Global chart, Megan has made less of an impact, with “Hiss” currently sitting at No. 54 after earning 1.772 million streams since its release last Friday (January 26).
Her Young Money rival is expected to make a bigger splash as “Big Foot” is on pace for the biggest female rap debut of 2024 on the streaming service, according to Chart Data.
On the Billboard Hot 100, “Hiss” is on track to crack the top 10 in its first week, which would earn Megan her first top 10 debut as a solo artist.
Sales projections for “Big Foot,” which was released three days after Megan’s song, have yet to be revealed.

The feud between the two has gone nuclear in the last few days after Megan Thee Stallion seemingly mocked Nicki Minaj’s husband attempted rape conviction on “Hiss,” causing the Queen hitmaker to dedicate a whole song targeting the Houston native.
“Big Foot” finds Nicki making a number of lurid accusations about Megan, spitting: “How you fuck your mother man when she die?/ How you go on Gayle King and can’t cry? Chile, bye/ Big foot, but you still a small fry/ Swearing on your dead mother when you lie.”
She also mocks her for getting shot in the foot by Tory Lanez: “Shots thrown but I still ain’t let Megan score/ Bad bitch, she like six foot/ I call her Big Foot/ The bitch fell off, I said, ‘Get up on your good foot.’”
Minaj further accuses Megan of getting liposuction and mentions the rapper’s late mother: “She just mad that no n-gga ever loved her/ No n-gga gon’ stan ten toes behind her/ Is it my fault I got good vagina?/ Why the fuck is you humping on a minor?/ ‘Cause she was lyin’ on your dead mama.”
The 41-year-old has also promised four more songs targeting Megan and has been forced to deny taking cocaine after facing accusations from fans on social media.
