The opposition National Democratic Congress candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuguon constituency, Mr John Setor Dumelo has delivered perspicuity on the contest that unfurled between him and his close pal, Fred Nuamah.
Granting an exclusive interview with TV3’s host, Alfred Ocansey on Ghana Tonight late news, Dumelo, who had formerly competed for the same constituency in the 2020 polls, described the internal contest between himself and his best man as ‘unnecessary’.
“I didn’t mind the contest, but I felt like a contest wasn’t needed. It wasn’t necessary because the party looked at Ayawaso West as a different case. After all, I had contested in 2020,” he honestly communicated.
