Rah Digga is a married woman, announcing her nuptials via social media Wednesday (Nov. 29).
“A wise woman once said, ‘Don’t post that nicca til yall married!’ Alas, WE HAVE ARRIVED!!!” wrote the wordsmith, 48, on Instagram alongside a photo of the happy couple, both dressed in all white. She went on to add “#TheWeeks” and “#BlackLove.”
The Flipmode spitter continued, “Sidebar: I was tryna wait for the official portraits, but this candid is ICE COLD. Second sidebar, this was the second of TWO weddings. I’m getting all the photos and video together now starting with my #HipHop50 bridal shower. WAIT FOR IT!”
Digga’s friends and fellow Hip-Hop heads were quick to congratulate the beauty within her comment section, with Pharoah Monch, Estelle, Angela Yee and several others all offering their well wishes.
The New Jersey native was recently spotted on tour alongside The Fugees as a member of Jersey collective Outsidaz, sharing snaps of herself on-stage with Ms. Lauryn Hill.
“Just us Jersey girls doin what we do…,” she captioned one snap.
Hill was called to the carpet over her habitual tardiness on tour by fans, resulting in the Grammy winner telling her Los Angeles audience to be grateful she even showed up.
“People say, ‘Oh, she’s late.’ ‘She’s late a lot.’ Yo, y’all lucky I make it on this blood ras stage every night,” Hill declared. “Pour out my heart and my soul on this stage. And I don’t do it because they let me do it. I do it because I stand here in the name of God. And I know it.”
