Western Region: Stonebwoy Put Up 4 Mechanised Boreholes In Shama District

The valid benchmark of a star gives back to society and Reggae Dancehall sensation Stonebwoy being a philanthropist has extended his benevolent pointer to the residents of Shama in the Western region.

Under the auspices of his Livingstone Foundation, Stonebwoy commissioned four mechanised boreholes in four communities in the Shama district.

Primarily farming communities in the Western Region, Antiamoah, then Beposo Nkran, Daboase Junction, and Borkor Awuku Kope can now brag of a borehole to serve as a source of water.

The source of water for the residents; River Pra, has been polluted by mining activities, thus the necessity for the boreholes.

The award-winning performer and all the top administrators of the foundation, comprising his missis, Dr Louisa were on the grounds to join the traditional leaders and residents of the communities to commission the boreholes.

Uttering with IB, host of Red Carpet shows on Accra-based news channel JoyNews, he divulged that the responsibility has been shifted from the government to ordinary citizens to seek relief items in communities.

It is for this motive his foundation is posed towards being an assisting hand to constrained and marginalised communities.

โ€œWe as Ghanaians have to help ourselves out, so if the government is not ready to carry out its work, it is up to the citizenry to do better,โ€ the ‘Run Go’ hitmaker uttered.
