Whiz Ghanaian Beats creator and well-known Showbiz name, Edward Osei, also known as ‘Da Hammer’, has announced that he will leave his portfolio as Managing Partner and Head of Sales/Marketing at A1 Bread to pursue his first passion: music production.

The boss of ‘The Last Two’ revealed this information on his Facebook page, where he shared information about his upcoming compilation album, ‘Upper Echelon,’ which is scheduled for an early 2024 release.

Featuring both emerging talents and seasoned artists, the album promises to be a blend of both new and old school. Da Hammer thanked A1 Bread for accepting his resignation and stated that his decision won’t impact his position as an equity stakeholder in the company.

Da Hammer stated that he had to balance his creative process, A1 Bread responsibilities, and managing RedEye’s comeback album in his announcement. The decision to quit his day job was prompted by the extended timeline for ‘Upper Echelon’, which allowed him to fully concentrate on music.

Da Hammer guaranteed enthusiasts that Ekumfi Juice, where he is a key distributor, will keep delivering the finest pineapple juice.
Further, his dedication to the music industry is unwavering, and the upcoming album is predicted to have a significant impact in 2024.

Da Hammer, whose return to the music scene is a significant chapter in his long career after shaping the sounds of top Ghanaian rap artists such as Obrafour, Tinny, Sarkodie, Kwaw kese, and Edem, is a legendary producer.
