Ice Cube Announces First Studio Album In 5 Years

Ice Cube is set to make a long-awaited comeback to the music industry, revealing plans for his first studio album in half a decade. The iconic West Coast rap artist recently made the announcement during an interview with Chuck D.


On September 26, Ice Cube was interviewed on The RAPstation radio show, hosted by Public Enemy frontman Chuck D, where the “It Was a Good Day” rapper shared that he is in the process of releasing a new album. The Friday actor said:

“I’m working on an album that hopefully I can finish in the next couple of weeks and schedule to put it out and yeah, I’m digging what I’m doing. The name of the record is called Man Down and, you know, it’s a pretty good record. I like it. It’s dope.”

Ice Cube’s new album, titled, Man Down, aims to be released in the coming weeks. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of this eleventh solo studio album, which will be his first since the 2018 album Everythang’s Corrupt
