Mark Okraku-Mantey Losses Legislator Bid For Ayensuano Seat

Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mark Okraku-Mantey has lost his bid to be the Lawmaker hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ayensuano constituency in the Eastern Region.

The NPP’s orphan constituency parliamentary polls on Saturday, December 2 resulted in his defeat.

He got 136 votes, but the winner, Ida Adwoa Asiedu, got 410 votes. Ernest Addo and Kingsley Boateng Adomah, the other hopefuls, received 4 and 3 votes respectively.
