Tellingly, it’s been a hell of a run. Nas and Hitboy are indeed the new ‘Gang Starr’. For three straight years now, this duo has been dropping back-to-back projects from dawn to dust resulting in a Grammy win in 2020 and a Grammy award nomination the following year.

Magic 3 comes just a few short weeks after Nas dropped the sequel. At the time, he commented on social media that he was in the midst of the best year of his life.
“Iโ€™m happy to be around making new music because I love it,โ€ the Queensbridge rap icon penned on Twitter. โ€œHaving the best year of my life. I caught the Holy Spirit and Iโ€™m grateful to be giving it all to the world. Magic 2.”

Magic 2 had guest appearances from 50 Cent and 21 Savage.
